WE BELIEVE WE BELIEVE
WE BELIEVE that the Word of God is inerrant and infallible, as well as uncompromising, and should be taught in its fullness, allowing for applicable revelation wherever lives are receptive. 2 Timothy 3:16-17; Psalm 19:7-11 WE BELIEVE that there is an eternal, unified, triune Godhead, One God, three manifestations, Father, Son, Holy Ghost, three sounds reflect the one name (Jesus) FULNESS OF THE GODHEAD IS COMPLETE IN JESUS. 1John 5:7; John 1:1-3; Is 45:21; Is 46: 9-10; Colossians 2:9 WE BELIEVE that man without God is eternally lost, and that salvation can only be attained through the grace that He offers in and through Jesus Christ. Romans 3:10-12; Isaiah 6:5-7;Romans 5:17; Acts 2:38-39 WE BELIEVE that water baptism should be preached in Jesus name, and that water baptism is a commandment of God for those who believed Luke 24:45-48; Mark 16:15-16; Acts2:38-39; Acts 10:44-48 WE BELIEVE that, because God is Spirit, our worship of Him should be spiritual, as well as intelligent and fruitful. John 4:23-24; Psalm 29:1-2 WE BELIEVE that the born again experience is when the baptism of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues is the glorious infilling of the promised Comforter to empower the believer from on high for ministry and that the Spirit has come from the Lord Jesus Christ. IT IS THE BORN-AGAIN EXPERIENCE. We also hold that all gifts (manifestation) of the Spirit, given to the Body of Christ, are valid for the balance, equipping, and service in and for that body. 1 Corinthians 14:18,22; Acts 2:3-4,16-21; Joel 2:28-32; Acts 10:46; Acts 19:1-6 WE BELIEVE that divine healing is the power of God, in the Lord Jesus Christ’s name, made manifest in His Body today. Therefore, we believe that, through faith and obedience, His representatives on earth today can operate in the health and wholeness that surrounds the Godhead now and permeated the life and ministry of Christ on earth. Mark 16:17-18; Isaiah 53:4-5 WE BELIEVE the word “COMMUNION” expresses fellowship, we believe the way to commune with God is through the Spirit. God is a Spirit, and they that worship Him must worship him in spirit and in truth. The literal emblems of bread and fruit of the vine which were used at the last pass-over were “shadows” of the true bread “JESUS” which came down from Heaven, and His blood, which was shed for the new covenant. We do not believe partaking of literal elements are essential to salvation and therefore refrain from partaking there-of, but with due Christian courtesy, we respect those who hold an opposite view. John 5:24; Matt 26:17-29; Matt.14:12-25; Luke 22:1-10; 1Corin. 11:26 WE BELIEVE that the second coming of Jesus Christ is imminent and that He, Himself, will return in “clouds of glory” to receive His faithful Church to Himself. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; Zechariah 12:8-10 WE BELIEVE that giving is an irreversible principle of God’ Kingdom. Therefore, giving of time, energy, and finances is both taught and practiced. Giving of tithe and offering, time and ministry, is an outflow of what God has placed in us to pass on to others. Luke 6:38; Malachi 3:8-12 WE BELIEVE that the true sign of a child of God is love. Thus, we have geared our ministry and lives to embrace the full parameters of all that is encompassed in God’s love, and we have committed ourselves to live out that love in word and deed. John 13:34-35; Deuteronomy 6:5-9 1 Corinthians 12:12-18; Ezra 3:8-13 WE BELIEVE that it is God’s love, extended to us by His grace, which enables us to become a living part of the Body of Christ. Because of that love we now offer ourselves to others as representatives of God’s Kingdom. 2 Corinthians 5:18-21; Psalm 19:7-11 |
